MUN Society
[For Students of Year 8 and above]
The Model United Nations Club of Stafford International School provides a space for the learning and practice of debate and diplomacy and provides students and young activists the opportunity to have a voice in global conversations on social and political issues. These opportunities will arise at conferences with other schools.
Objectives of the Society:
The objectives of this club shall be to prepare for participation in Model United Nations Conferences as well as to promote the following:
- A greater interest in international affairs.
- A greater understanding of the United Nations.
- A better understanding of the global political environment in which we live.
- The development of research, writing, public speaking, problem solving, consensus building, conflict resolution, compromise, and cooperation skills useful throughout life.
